HYDERABAD: Agriculture minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy on Saturday said the central government has given green signal to the state’s request for taking up oil palm cultivation in 45250 acres. Telangana government has already started oil palm cultivation in 2500 acres as a pilot project in 2019-20. The central government survey has stated that 246 mandals in Telangana are suitable to raise oil palm cultivation, he said.
