BAREILLY: Central Avian Research Institute (CARI) in Bareilly has launched a project for socio-economic uplift of women hailing from the tribal Thuru community by teaching them about rearing poultry. Six Tharu villages of Lakhimpur district have been chosen for the project under the tribal sub-plan of Indian Council for Agriculture Research.
