It is very important to have farm machinery or equipment for modern agriculture. It is said that where there is less agricultural labor, there is an increase in crop yield. But some farmers are unable to buy expensive agricultural machinery or equipment due to poor economic conditions. Hence keeping these things in mind, the Central Government has set up 42000 custom hiring centers in the country that will provide modern agricultural implements to small and marginal farmers of India. The Government of India has now taken a big step to solve the problem of farmers. In fact, in some states, the government has decided to give a subsidy of up to 100 percent for purchasing agricultural machines or Farm Equipment. This means farmers will not have to spend a single rupee from their pocket to open a custom hiring center.
