Congress on Friday demanded that the government immediately make arrangements to procure thousands of tones of chilli, maize and other agricultural produce from the farmers. The procurement of a large number of agricultural products mainly the chilli, maize needs to be commenced urgently. Farmers are waiting to sell their produce.
